New School Year, New Go-To Hairstyles to Love

Can you believe it? We are saying farewell to our sweet summertime and hello to the new school year. We at Heat Salon hope to ease the transition by sharing a few of our favorite trending and easy back-to-school hairstyles we know you’ll love.

01.  A quick clip.

Hair claw clips will always be a staple accessory for an easy, chic hairstyle that requires no heat, hassle, or time. A claw clip works great in all hair types and lengths and is as easy as 1-2-3, especially when you’re running short on time.

02.  Sleek + pulled back.

Straightened, down, tucked behind your ears, or in a tight high ponytail, sleeked-back hair is IN. Again, another effortless and quick hairstyle to fall in love with for school. Tip: To achieve the complete look, use a product such as gel and finish with hairspray to ensure no baby hairs sneak out. 

03.  Braids.

When in doubt, braid it out! The classic 3-strand braid and bubble braid are perfect for beginners. Other fun braids to try are French, fishtail, and pigtail braids.

There are several ways to incorporate braids into hairstyles—make it fun!

04.  Half-up.

It doesn’t matter if your hair is short, long, curly, or straight; there is a half-up, half-down hairstyle you will love. You can secure your hair with a cute hair clip, throw the top portion up in a bun, or be creative with a braid.

There are so many ways to customize curls to your liking. Curls are always a fun choice, whether your curling technique is via a straightener or barrel. Curl your hair the night before for a more relaxed and tousled look or the morning of for a more finished and fresher look. Or maybe you want to experiment with overnight or heatless curling techniques. The options truly are endless.
